We demand protection for political refugees!

The presidential administration continues to discredit people who have entered the streets of Russian cities in protest against the dishonest elections of 2011-2012. To this end, the sadly known “swamp business” was fabricated, the continuation of which was the appearance on the NTV channel of the pseudo -documentary film “Anatomy of Protest - 2” and the arrest of his defendants: activists of the left front Sergei Udaltsov and Leonid Razvodvozzh, as well as our comrade Konstantin Lebedev.

While the most unpopular over the past 20 years, the parliament has continued to attack the rights and freedoms of workers, the authorities are diligently trying to distract the attention of citizens to the very “conspiracies for the purpose of the dismemberment of Russia”. As a result, constant detentions, searches and arrests become the norm of life for almost everyone who thinks about what is happening, decides to openly criticize the power and oppose the done injustice.

Recall that Leonid Razvoszhaev after the release of "Anatomy of Protest - 2" was stolen from the territory of Ukraine, where he tried to get refugee status, Russian intelligence services, delivered to Moscow and is now undergoing torture and bullying.

At the moment, again, in Ukraine, our comrade, activist of the Russian socialist movement, Philip Dolbunov (better known in the media as Philip Galtsov), asks for political asylum. On October 25, 2012, employees of the E -E Center were abducted directly from his own apartment. Physical and psychological measures (up to the threat of murder without any trial) were applied to it in order to obtain confessions in connection with the “swamp case”. Philip did not succumb to this pressure, so then he avoided the arrest. Later it turned out that his name was indicated in the so -called. "Poison with a guilty" allegedly written by Leonid Razvozzhaev (Razvozhaev himself, at the same time, claims that the text is falsified). According to this dubious document, Philip, not being a participant in the anarchist movement, supposedly "headed the anarchist column on May 6 on Bolotnaya Square, which broke through the cordon of the riot police", with which, as the investigation claims, "the mass riots began."

A few weeks before the abduction, Philip acted as a witness to defense in the case of Stepan Zimin, who is now in jail on charges of participating in "riots" on May 6.

In the period from November 2012, until the beginning of January 2013, the employees of the Center of the Center and the FSB and the FSB were repeatedly “just to talk to Philip at the place of registration. These visits were accompanied by threats to Philip and his relatives. Fearing for his own safety and the safety of his family, Philip decided to leave the territory of the Russian Federation. The forced departure was the only opportunity to avoid imprisonment and constant pressure on his own and his relatives.

However, the recognition of the United Nations of Ukraine after the abduction of Razvozhaev, an unsafe country, unsafe for political migrants, gives us reason to be afraid for the fate of Philip, which at any time can be abducted by Russian intelligence agencies and end up in Putin's dungeons.

From February 6, the Philip has been set out for surveillance. It is not yet clear who initiated it - Russian or Ukrainian special services.

On February 12, Philip was the first interview in the Office for Refugees of the Migration Service of Ukraine. During the interview, he was asked the same questions as in the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation on October 25, 2012. The UN UN did not respond to this information.

In addition to Philip, in Ukraine there are also activists Aleksey Devyatkin and Mikhail Maglov, journalist Jenny Kurpen. They claim that in July they organized surveillance of the SBU by employees. For 8 months they have not been able to receive a response from the migration service of Ukraine and are actually in the same position as Philip Dolbunov.

We are extremely concerned that the stay in Ukraine, Philip Dolbunov, Jenny Kurpen, Alexei Devyatkin and Mikhail Maglova, does not give them security guarantees from the persecution of Russian intelligence services. In this regard, we turn to all political, human rights and trade union organizations with a request to influence the situation with activists. We urge to send the UN Supreme Commissioner for refugees in Belarus, Moldova and Ukraine Oldrich Andrisek a letter with a request to provide Philip Dolbunov, Jenny Kurpen, Alexei Devyatkin, Mikhail Maglov, additional protection and begin the procedure for resettleing them to a safe country that will provide them with political asylum.

We urge all those who are not indifferent in Russia and the world to demand from the authorities of the Russian Federation:

- immediately terminate the case of riots on Bolotnaya Square on May 6;

- immediately release the accused in the case of riots on Bolotnaya Square on May 6;

- stop the persecution for the political motives of anti -fascists, left -wing and civilian activists.
