The President of Afghanistan demanded to withdraw American special forces from the central province of the country

Afghan President Hamid Karzai demanded to withdraw the forces of American special forces from the Central Province of Vardak, which is of great strategic importance for the US contingent.

According to the Air Force , the Afghan leader established a two-week period of withdrawal of American military personnel from the Vardak province due to accusations of people's disappearance and the use of torture. As specified, we are talking about the actions of the Afghans, who are considered "as part of the special forces of the United States."

Presidential official Aimal Fayzi commented at a press conference: "There are some people, Afghans who work in these cells, these (American) special -purpose groups in the Vardak province. - They are part of the US special forces."

According to ITAR-TASS, the Vardak province is considered as a key bridgehead for supporters of the Taliban movement for sorties in the capital of Afghanistan Kabul.

A week ago, Karzai issued a decree prohibiting Afghan forces during operations in residential areas of the country to request air support for international security forces for air strikes. The ban was followed by death during one of these air raids of 10 civilians, including five children.
