Cyclingman Dmitriev became the first Russian vice-champion of the world in sprint

Russian racer Denis Dmitriev won a silver medal in an individual sprint race at the World Cycling Championship on the track, which is taking place these days in Minsk. This is the first award in the history of the Russian national team at the planet’s championships in this type of program.

Dmitriev showed the fourth time in qualification, then in paired races defeated two Australians and German Max Levy. In the final, in two races, he lost to the German Stefan to the nerd.

The bronze of the World Cup was won by the Frenchman Francois Prince, whom Dmitriev won the semifinals with a score of 2: 1.

Shortly before the start, Denis Dmitriev’s chances were highly appreciated by the head coach of the national team Sergei Kovpanets. “You can fight.
