Airborne priests will be taught the landing of mobile temples

At the end of March, in Ryazan, priests of the airborne troops will be held for training to work out skills in working with landscaped mobile temples. This was reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the representative of the Ministry of Defense for the Airborne Forces of Colonel Alexander Kucherenko. “The crown of the event will be directly the landing of the spell module from the Il-76 aircraft,” Kucherenko quoted the words of the chief priest of the Airborne Forces Mikhail Vasiliev.

The official added that since the beginning of the year, "representatives of the Orthodox clergy assisted the commanders of the units in ensuring the training jumps of young replenishment." Priests and deacons, together with the recruits, were jumping "in order to raise the fighting spirit of young fighters," said the representative of the military department.

In March 2012, it became known that the Russian Orthodox Church is actively seeking the inclusion of weapons and military equipment of the Airborne Forces of mobile inflatable churches-tanks. "The church promotes this issue. If the temples are included in the state, they can be landed from airplanes along with self -propelled guns and combat landing vehicles," Kucherenko said then.

Earlier it was reported that the Russian army will adopt inflatable equipment, including dummies of missile systems, tanks, air defense systems and aircraft. The average mass of one unit of inflatable equipment is 30 kilograms. Flows are made of light waterproof fabric and in a folded form do not take up much space.
