Cassation for the arrest of Ilya Gushchina

On Wednesday, the Moscow City Court will consider the cassation complaint about the arrest of Ilya Gushchina - the penultimate of the guest of the "Swamp business" today. The beginning of the hearings at 10:30, the hall 319.

Gushchina was arrested on February 6. At first he partially pleaded guilty, and then refused the confession that he gave with the appointed lawyer. Gushchin admitted that he grabbed the policeman behind the helmet to drag him from the beaten demonstrators. At the same time, Gushchin noted, he tried not to hurt the police.

24-year-old Gushchin, a member of the National Democratic Party, is charged with part 2 of Article 212 (participation in the riots) and part 1 of Article 318 of the Criminal Code (the application of violence in relation to a representative of the authorities). By the decision of the Basmanny Court, he was arrested until April 6.
