The story of the eviction of this overnight stay began, as its inhabitants say, with betrayal. They believe that they were "handed over" by the former cohabitant Nikolai. He worked at a construction site with other homeless people, was their responsible foreman, and then took away all the money earned in a month by the brigade, 102 thousand, ran away and wrote a statement to the police that people were forcibly held in the house (the New Times correspondent found Nicholas, but refused to speak).
On the night of January 24, 2012, seven police vehicles with the Domodedovo police department drove up to the house on Nadezhda Street. The operation was led by the head of the Department of Internal Affairs, Major Alexander Piskunov. Having examined all the premises and not finding the forcedly held, the investigators took away all the inhabitants of the cottage to the department, and until 6 in the morning they were pierced at the bases, took fingerprints, interrogated. “It was found that three of them are on the federal wanted list as having lost contact with relatives. 18 were alcohol and drug addicts, 12 previously convicted, including serious crimes- robberies, murders and rape, ”Piskunov said after the raid.
