The judge of the Basmanny District Court of Moscow Natalya Dudar extended the period of detention in the pre -trial detention center until June 8 to the "Swamp prisoner" of Stepan Zimin. It is reported by the "Rosuznik". Thus, he, like Denis Lutskievich, Artem Savelov and Andrei Barabanov, will conduct at least a year in conclusion.
Investigator Agashi Maruyan, petitioning the extension of the arrest, read the same text on a piece of paper as an hour earlier at a meeting of Barabanov. “Zimin can hide at large, continue criminal activity,” Marukyan assured. He noticed that in Zimin, 62 volumes, of which the political prisoner already got acquainted with 58, while in the affairs of other under investigation of on average 30 volumes.
Lawyer Maxim Pashkov in his speech noted that it was impossible to destroy evidence, since they have already been collected. His client cannot put pressure on the witnesses of Kuvatov and Pshinov, since they work in the police. Pashkov also noticed that Zimin had an unpaid loan for an apartment. On the basis of all this, the lawyer petitioned the transfer of a "swamp prisoner" under house arrest. At the same time, he referred to the fact that the leader of the left front, Sergei Udaltsov, was accused of more severe articles, but the preventive measure chosen for him is softer than that of Zimin.
Following the other Politzek’s lawyer, Alexei Emelyanov from Rosuznik, spoke. He noticed that Zimin cannot hide from the investigation, because the whole country now knows him. He also drew the attention of the court that in the case there is only one “victim” - riot police - and his testimony should be critical. Emelyanov petitioned for the release of a "swamp prisoner" on a recognizance not to leave.
Marukyan in response said: "Zimin has an expired passport, so I object to house arrest. He did not do half a step to arrange a new one." Pashkov noticed this that his client repeatedly asked the FSIN to issue a passport, but this was not done. “Of course, I understand that for the investigation it is easier for a person in a prison to keep in order to be at hand than draw up documents,” the lawyer noted. Marukan laughed.
Judge Dudar found out from the accused what he lived for six months, who passed after his mother’s death before the detention. Her next questions were: "How did her mother's death affect your studies? She died of cancer? How much was she sick?" In this way, Dudar tried to convict Stepan in unwillingness to get a new passport in a timely manner. Marukyan mockingly noticed that Zimin had not reached this hand. “Dancing was engaged there, boogie -wool,” he said.
Alexei Navalny came to the court. Politzke was surprised at his appearance.
Anarchist Zimin is 21 years old. He is a student at the RSU. Has been in custody since June 8, 2012. Politsyk is accused under Part 2 of Article 212 (mass riots) and part 1 of Article 318 of the Criminal Code (the application of violence in relation to a representative of the authorities). The investigation claims that on the march of millions he rushed into pieces of asphalt at the police and once hit the riot police in the hand. On December 28, the Investigative Committee called Zimin among the 12 "swamp prisoners", the consequence of which was completed.
In early February, it was reported that Politsyk wrote an official abandonment of the services of the lawyer of the Public Verdict Foundation Vasily Kushnir. "How to interpret the situation when the accused in a custom -made case refuses the lawyer who shows the greatest activity to be decided," the fund noted in the report.
The left activist Philip Galtsev, who was on Bolotnaya Square with Zimin, volunteered to be a witness to the defense in his case. In October, Galtsov’s house was searched, after which he was taken away for interrogation in the TFR, threatening to "take it to the forest on the way and figure it out." In the TFR, he was required to testify in the case of "Anatomy of Protest - 2"; At the same time, investigator Timofey Grachev beat the activist and threatened him with a fabrication of a criminal case of riots. Nevertheless, Galtsov refused to report anything, referring to the 51st article of the Constitution. Subsequently, Galtsov fled to Ukraine, fearing political persecution.
Today in the case of "mass riots" 24 defendants in Bolotnaya Square. The last on February 20, 41-year-old economist Alexander Margolin was detained. On February 21, the judge of the Basmanny Court Natalya Mushnikova wrapped him in custody until April 6. The affairs of Maxim Luzyanin, who fully pleaded guilty and received 4.5 years in prison, and Mikhail Kosenko, who threatens forced treatment in a psychiatric hospital, were allocated to separate production.
On January 10, the Investigative Committee united the "swamp business" into one production with the case of an anatomy of protest - 2 ". In this case, the leaders of the Left Front Sergey Udaltsov, Konstantin Lebedev and Leonid Razvoszhaev are held; It is charged with part 1 of Article 30 and part 1 of Article 212 of the Criminal Code (preparation for the organization of riots). According to investigators, the opposition prepared a power seizure of power for money from abroad. In February, the same prosecution was charged to the deputy of the Georgian Parliament Givi Targamadze. He was in absentia arrested by the Basmanny Court and put on the international wanted list.
In mid -January, Rosuznik called on the participants of the Million Millions to speak at the “Swamp case” court of defense witnesses. As the project coordinator Sergei Vlasov said, by the beginning of the process, the organization intends to find about 500 witnesses. A public investigation of events on Bolotnaya is also conducted by the Committee on May 6 together with the Party of the RPR-Parnas.
