The judge of the Basmanny District Court of Moscow Natalya Dudar extended the period of detention in the pre -trial detention center until June 8 to the "Swamp prisoner" of Stepan Zimin. On the basis of all this, the lawyer petitioned the transfer of a "swamp prisoner" under house arrest. At the same time, he referred to the fact that the leader of the left front, Sergei Udaltsov, was accused of more severe articles, but the preventive measure chosen for him is softer than that of Zimin.

He also drew the attention of the court that in the case there is only one “victim” - riot police - and his testimony should be critical. Emelyanov petitioned for the release of a "swamp prisoner" on a recognizance not to leave.

Marukyan in response said: "Zimin has an expired passport, so I object to house arrest. He did not do half a step to arrange a new one." Pashkov noticed this that his client repeatedly asked the FSIN to issue a passport, but this was not done. “Of course, I understand that for the investigation it is easier for a person in a prison to keep in order to be at hand than draw up documents,” the lawyer noted. Marukan laughed.

Judge Dudar found out from the accused what he lived for six months, who passed after his mother’s death before the detention. Her next questions were: "How did her mother's death affect your studies? She died of cancer? How much was she sick?" In this way, Dudar tried to convict Stepan in unwillingness to get a new passport in a timely manner. In the TFR, he was required to testify in the case of "Anatomy of Protest - 2"; At the same time, investigator Timofey Grachev beat the activist and threatened him with a fabrication of a criminal case of riots. Nevertheless, Galtsov refused to report anything, referring to the 51st article of the Constitution. Subsequently, Galtsov fled to Ukraine, fearing political persecution.

In mid -January, Rosuznik called on the participants of the Million Millions to speak at the “Swamp case” court of defense witnesses. As the project coordinator Sergei Vlasov said, by the beginning of the process, the organization intends to find about 500 witnesses.
