
The famous Russian sambist Alexander Emelianenko was fined 700 rubles for a drunken brawl on board the Moscow -Barnaul aircraft, RIA Novosti reports with reference to the press service of the Barnaul transport prosecutor's office.
The incident with Emelianenko occurred in December 2012 aboard Aeroflot aircraft flying to Barnaul, where a number of events were planned for the athlete. It is found guilty of petty hooliganism and fined 700 rubles.
"During the flight, a well -known athlete violated public order, spoke loudly, molested passengers, provoked them to a fight, did not react to the remarks of the flight attendants, demanded alcohol, expressed an obscene abuse, smoked in an airplane," the press release said.
Alexander flew to Barnaul as an honorary guest of a local martial arts tournament. Subsequently, a video from this event was spread on the Internet, where Emelianenko is probably intoxicated by the fighters ( video ).
Four days after the scandal in the capital of the Altai Territory, the president of the M1 Global mixed martial arts tournaments, Vadim Finkelstein, announced the termination of the contract with the younger brother Fedor Emelianenko due to a repeated violation of his conditions.
A few hours after that, Alexander announced the completion of a sports career for health reasons.
