The speaker of the Federation Council Valentina Matvienko for the second time in a row was called the most influential woman in Russia. The rating was the Echo Moskvy radio station with the support of the magazine Ogonek and the RIA Novosti and Interfax agencies.

In second place was the Deputy Prime Minister Olga Golodets-she was on the list for the first time. The third place is still occupied by the press secretary of the government of the government Dmitry Medvedev Natalya Timakova.

The ranking included several representatives of the media. Galina Timchenko-the chief editor of Lenti.ru-took 57th place, Elena Bereznitskaya-Bruni, her colleague with Newsru.com, was in 91 positions, and the new CEO of TVC Julia Bystitskaya-at 69.

It is interesting that Pussy Riot member Nadezhda Toloknnikova, which the Russian media mentioned in 2012, only a little less often Valentina Matvienko, took 72th place. Evgenia Vasilieva, who is under house arrest, accused of thefts in the case of Oboronservis - ended up in the last, hundredth position.

The positions of the participants in the ranking were determined by the expert group. It included people who, according to the Echo of Moscow, are definitely knowing what the influence is: the State Duma speaker Sergey Naryshkin, Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich, President of Lukoila Vagit Alekperov and many others. Of the 50 experts invited by the compilers of the rating, 43 responded.

Experts appreciated all the proposed candidates for a 20-point system. Compared to last year, the list of applicants has been somewhat updated: it included new ministers who occupied key posts, as well as women who had increased attention this year.

Not all experts were able to put an “assessment of influence” to applicants. Only 13 rating participants were estimated by all 43 experts. 68 women received an assessment of 42 or 41 people, the remaining 19 received from 35 to 40 assessments.

According to the rating, it is immediately clear that experts were selected by the political radio station "Echo of Moscow". For example, in the “Rating of the Russian Elite”, which annually draws up a VTsIOM on the basis of a survey of Russians, in 2012 Alla Pugacheva did not surrender any position, remaining the “most elite” Russian woman. Also in the ranking are Sofia Rotaru, Ksenia Sobchak and even the actress and TV presenter Larisa Guzeeva. Valentina Matvienko is adjacent to this ranking with Tatyana Malysheva, leading his own medical show on the First Channel.

However, the VTsIOM survey criteria are completely different - sociologists are asking Russians to name ten people who have the greatest merits to Russia and who, in their opinion, can be considered a Russian elite.

In the company rating of billionaires of Forbes magazine with women is a big problem. In 2012, only Elena Baturina is present in it of the weaker sex. And then, only 86 positions. Many, however, will consider it only a formal participant in the rating - the husband, former mayor of Moscow Yuri Luzhkov, is considered a real source of its wealth.

Much better women are presented in the rating of celebrities of Forbes magazine. In the first ten, Maria Sharapova, Alla Pugacheva and Ksenia Sobchak find themselves in it. The first place, however, is occupied by Stas Mikhailov. In total, out of 50 positions, women occupy 15.

Influential women are ranked not only in Russia. You can even say that Russian journalists came to this later than many others.

Since 2004, the American Forbes magazine has been publishing a list of 100 most influential women in the world. In 2012, politicians occupied the top of the rating. In the first place in the sixth time in the story was the German Chancellor Angela Merkel. The second place is occupied by US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton - however, since then she has managed to resign and now it is unlikely to rise so high. In third place, the president of Brazil Dilm Roussuff settled. The wife of one of the richest men in the world, the co -chair of one of the largest charitable foundations, Melind Gates was in fourth place, and the editor -in -chief of one of the most influential newspapers in the world of The New York Times, Jill Abramson, on the fifth.

The national rating of influential women is also the Ukrainian magazine Focus. It was first compiled in 2006. All this time in the first place, by itself, was Yulia Tymoshenko. For eight years, she visited both the Prime Minister and the leader of the opposition, and now she is a prisoner. The second place in 2012 was taken by Irina Akimova, the first deputy head of the presidential administration and the presidential representative in the government. Elena Pinchuk - The head of the supervisory board of the television group Starlightmedia took third place.

Since 2011, women have its own rating. Despite the fact that traditional Islam does not provide for women in big business and politics, there are influential ladies there.

In 2012, as in 2011, the first place was taken by the Minister of Foreign Trade of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Lyubna al-Kasimi. Also from the UAE, the managing director of Easa Saleh Al Gurg Group Raja Isa al-Gurg, who is part-time, leads the “Council of Business Women Dubai”, it takes fifth place. The Yemeni human rights activist Tavakul pocket was on the second line.

In the Russian rating of infusion, as you can see, the business is practically not represented. An influential woman in Russia is rather an official, possibly a politician or public figure. Well, or Alla Pugacheva - she, unlike ministers or presidents, is irremovable and exists regardless of constitutions and elections.
