The authorities of the Moscow region will discuss the possibility of limiting the number of storeys of new high-rise buildings being built in the region, Acting Governor Andrei Vorobyov told reporters.
“There are opinions on limiting the number of floors of construction in the Moscow region. And you know that if a year and a half ago 25-story buildings could be built in the Moscow region, today the maximum number of floors is 17 floors, but a number of district heads and deputies of the regional parliament proposed all Still, think about a more comfortable development, it involves the presence of eight to nine floors,” he said.
According to him, this proposal will be considered by deputies of the Moscow Regional Duma.
“We have enough territory to build comfortable housing, and not be in stone bags. We will not make an emotional decision today, under no circumstances, we will discuss it within the walls of our regional parliament in order to sort this out in great detail ", Vorobiev emphasized.
