Football fans who are under 14 years of age and for this reason do not have a passport will be able to purchase tickets to the stadium by presenting their birth certificates.
“Sale using passports will become mandatory next season. As for children, we will let them in based on their birth certificate,” said Alexander Meitin, director of the Russian Football Premier League (RFPL) for security and fan relations.
In February, clubs at the general meeting of the Russian Premier League unanimously supported the idea of selling tickets using passports, and at the recent executive committee of the Russian Football Union, corresponding amendments to the regulations were adopted.
