Channel One joined NTV: exposed the "disabled" business of Magnitsky’s chief in Kalmykia

The first channel of Russian television joined the NTV in the exposure of the activities of the head of the Hermitage Capital Foundation William Brauder, chief of lawyer Sergei Magnitsky. NTV rested that Browner could be associated with foreign special services. "Sunday" spoke about the "disabled" business of Brauder in Kalmykia.

According to ITAR-TASS, according to the data given in the program, Browner created 10 companies in Kalmykia, for work in which disabled people were formed. They were only listed in firms, but did not really work, receiving several hundred rubles a month for using their names. Such a scheme made it possible to receive tax benefits, the amounts of which were calculated by billions of rubles. According to the authors of the plot, first of all, such schemes were necessary to buy up shares of Russian companies, including Gazprom. The program does not specify how widely such schemes are used by Russian business.

The authors of the revelations paid special attention to participation in the implementation of fraudulent schemes for the taxation of the auditor of the Fund Sergey Magnitsky. This is not news. The Prosecutor General’s Office of Russia, in November 2012, suing the Magnitsky deceased, called both the schemes and the names of the Kalmyk firms participating in the criminal schemes: “Far steppe” and “Saturn Investment”.

A few days ago, representatives of the Investigative Department at the Ministry of Internal Affairs told reporters about the investigation of the criminal case, within the framework of which the circumstances of the illegal acquisition of shares of Gazprom OJSC are studied by a number of legal entities with the overwhelming participation of foreign citizens, including Brauder. According to the investigation, the actions of the latter caused damage to Russia in the amount of three billion rubles.

Sergei Magnitsky, accused of tax evasion from the organization, died in the Moscow pre -trial detention center "Butyrka" on November 16, 2009. In the course of his work, he revealed fraudulent schemes of multimillion -dollar theft of budget money. His death caused a great public resonance. The American Senator Benjamin Cardin later compiled the so -called "Magnitsky list", which included Russian officials allegedly involved in this matter.
