On the night of March 11-2, German troops, without meeting resistance, entered the territory of Austria. On March 13, Hitler solemnly entered Vienna. On April 10, a plebiscite about Anschluss was held in Germany and Austria. According to official figures, 99.08 % of residents voted in Germany for Anschlus, 99.75 % in Austria.
