1863. Born Vladimir Vernadsky

150 years ago, March 12, 1863, academician Vladimir Vernadsky, founder of geochemistry, author of the doctrine of noosphere, was born. He was also a member of the Central Committee of the Constitutional Democratic Party (Cadets), but after 1920 he recognized the Soviet regime.

On November 15, 1941, he recorded in his diary:
