Several hundred people came to say goodbye to actor Andrei Panin at the Chekhov Moscow Art Theater; the queue stretched along the entire Kamergersky Lane. According to the rules, people were only allowed to place flowers at the coffin and immediately leave the hall.

The theater security service began to remove the actor's fans, who were standing near the exit from the theater and trying to return to the hall, where there was a lot of free space: a fight broke out between the visitors and the security, reports the Vesti TV channel . After this, the theater administration opened the balcony and allowed everyone to attend the funeral service.

The actor is known to Russian viewers from the films “Mama”, “Tender Age”, “Poisons, or the World History of Poisoning”, “Generation P”, “Burnt by the Sun 2: Imminence” and many others.

Andrey Panin: “I’m afraid of death because I don’t know what’s out there.”

In cinema, Panin’s last work was in Alexander Proshkin’s film “Atonement”. He is nominated for Nika for Best Supporting Actor. There are also several unfinished television projects left: a series about Sherlock Holmes, in which the actor played the role of Watson, and Bakhtiyar Khudoynazarov’s series “Heteras of Major Sokolov,” in which Andrei Panin played the main role.
