President Putin proposed to recreate the USSR System in Russia in a modern format in Russia and take into account the surrender of standards for admission to universities, RIA Novosti reports. “I think that it is quite appropriate to recall the positive experience of past years, when the so -called TRP complex has been operating in our country, people of different ages passed its standards, it was a really working mechanism. It was largely lost, but it worked. This system needs to be revived,” Putin said at a meeting on the development of a physical education system.

“Moreover, I believe that an assessment of the level of physical training of the student who has submitted the standards for this complex, which I said, must be reflected in the document about education and be taken into account when entering universities,” he added.

Putin also stated that the quality of physical education organization should be taken into account when assessing the effectiveness of the work of educational institutions, the system of which is already undergoing serious criticism. "You need to start with key participants in this process - heads of educational institutions and education management bodies, provide for them to encourage them and at the same time of responsibility," Putin said.

“It is imperative to take into account the results of physical training in assessing the effectiveness of the work of educational institutions,” he summed up.

The teams of physical education of enterprises, institutions, organizations that have achieved special successes on the introduction of the TRP complex into the daily life of workers were awarded the sign "For successes in the work on the TRP complex."
