1888. Anton Makarenko was born
125 years ago, March 13, 1888, the teacher and writer Anton Semenovich Makarenko, the author of the "Pedagogical Poem", was born. He worked with difficult -minded teenagers in children's labor colonies of the OGPU and created communes from them. In 1935-1936 he was the head of the department of labor colonies of the NKVD of Ukraine.
