
The St. Petersburg SKA defeated the Cherepovets Severstal in the fourth match of the quarter-final playoff series of the Continental Hockey League (KHL), securing the Gagarin Cup to the semifinals.
The meeting, which took place on Tuesday in Cherepovets, ended with a score of 4: 2 in favor of the army from the banks of the Neva. The goals of the winners were abandoned by Dmitry Kalinin, Yuri Aleksandrov, Alexander Kucheyvenko and Evgeny Artyukhin. Denis Kazionov and Mikhail Anisin distinguished themselves at Severstal.
