The politician announced his decision at a press conference on Thursday.

Ilya Ponomarev is a member of the Central Council "SR". A day earlier, in an interview with the Izvestia newspaper, he criticized the decision of the Bureau of the Presidium on the exclusion of Gennady and Dmitry Gudkov from the party and advocated the creation of an inter -fractionation deputy group. In his opinion, such a group will not require deputies of leaving their parties. He also stated that he was also ready for such an option that he would need to hand over the mandate of the deputy.

Earlier, at the end of January, Ponomarev announced his departure from the governing bodies of the “Left Front” at the request of the Presidium of the Just Russia party. stop cooperation with the non -systemic opposition.
