Senator from Buryatia Vitaly Malkin denied data from member of the Opposition Coordination Council Alexei Navalny that he has Israeli citizenship and is known in this country as Avikhur ben Bar.
“Vitaly Borisovich asked me to convey that he does not have dual citizenship, he is exclusively a citizen of Russia,” Malkin’s assistant Irina Balkhaeva told the Izvestia newspaper. She was unable to comment on other documents that Navalny posted. Malkin, in addition to dual citizenship, according to Navalny, owns undeclared real estate in Canada. Documents proving this fact are posted on the blog of the founder of Rospil.
“Malkin is a senator and a member of the Foreign Affairs Committee, he probably has a security clearance. If Lyubov Sobol, who led this case at our Anti-Corruption Foundation, discovered this in two weeks, then what is the FSB even doing there?” - Navalny is indignant in his blog .
