The head of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Amur Region, Viktor Bukhta, will soon be charged with abuse of power.
“Viktor Bukhta instructed his subordinates to write applications for additional financial assistance in the amount of 50 to 70 thousand rubles. And they had to transfer 70% of these amounts to him. In the future, he used the money at his own discretion,” the head said on Thursday Military Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee for the Eastern Military District Radik Garayev at a press conference in Khabarovsk.
According to him, for three years - 2009-2012. - the head of the Amur Ministry of Emergency Situations caused damage to the state in the amount of at least two million rubles.
“The suspect refused to testify. During the investigation, he is suspended from his position. He will be charged in the near future,” emphasized the head of the Armed Forces of the ICR for the Higher Military District.
Earlier it was reported that Viktor Bukhta became involved in a case of abuse of power. Article 285 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Abuse of official powers”) prescribes up to four years in prison.
