Belgorod. 03/13/2013. Tonight in Belgorod, a monument to Lenin, located on the main square of the city, was dismantled in Belgorod. The construction equipment and police detachments appeared at the monument nine hours after a meeting of the Council of Deputies, at which it was decided to install the City of Military Glory, on the site of Lenin.
1. By midnight, the workers secured the girth on the pedestal for the subsequent rise of the crane.

2. From the side of Cathedral Square, the monument to Lenin was closed by the sketch of the future stele. To my surprise, there were no people in the square - both the police and the protesting the dismantling of the monument to the townspeople gathered from the regional administration building. As a result, not even a single policeman was left on the square, and Lenin could be approached almost closely.

3. The initial rise of the monument, as I understand it, failed. Subsequently, the cables will be replaced with more durable.

4. The workers again rose to the base of the monument, this time with a jaws. However, this did not have the proper effect. Later, Lenin will be crushed under the feet of Lenin with the help of a special jack of a hammer installed on the tractor (I have not been preserved for these photos).

5. At the beginning of the fourth, the monument was shaken, and Lenin broke away from the pedestal. Music from one German film was spinning in my head, in which the monument to the leader also swayed on cables.
6. Monument to V.I. Lenin was dismantled.

7. That, in fact, is all.
