About 30 unknown masked men destroyed a cafe in Samara on Friday evening, Sergei Goldshtein, head of the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Samara Region, told the Interfax agency.
“The attack occurred around 21:00. About 30 unknown people in masks broke into a working cafe, where there were about 50 visitors. The unknown people destroyed the cafe, broke dishes, overturned tables, but did not touch the visitors,” Goldstein said.
According to him, an alarm button was installed in the cafe, but the staff did not use it, and also did not call the police after the attack. One of the visitors who witnessed the incident called the police.
An operational investigation team is working on the spot and an investigation is underway.
