There is a bell installed on the square in front of the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral... I remember the coverage of this event was grandiose not only in the Nizhny Novgorod region... It's no joke - the 3rd bell in Russia by weight! 64 tons, of which 80% copper and 20% tin.
Naturally I became interested. He came closer. I read the inscription on the counter and glanced at it.... I began to peer into the images and texts. I saw familiar words and.... I was precipitated!!!
The names of officials were immortalized on the bell!!!! Here's God... here's God's temple...
I came to God, but it turned out to be the city administration!
I visit church extremely rarely... But now I will go there even less often! Offended to the core. The merging of power and the Russian Orthodox Church is obvious!
