Thus, food products rose in price last month by 1.4% (over 2 months - 2.1%), industrial goods - by 1.4% (an increase of 1.1%), services - by 0.3% (an increase by 0.1%).
“In February, the overall increase in food prices was significantly influenced by a significant increase in the price of vegetable products - by 6.3%. White cabbage rose in price by almost 16%, onions - by 10.6%, carrots - by 7.4%, tomatoes - by 5.9%, potatoes - by 3.6%,” explains Sakhalinstat.
According to statistical data, since the beginning of the year (January-February), the largest increase in prices was noted for vegetables - by 11.3%, fruits and citrus fruits - by 5.3%, confectionery - by 4.2%. Prices for bread and bakery products increased by 1.5% in January-February, milk and dairy products - by 0.5%. Alcohol prices increased by 2.6%.
Of industrial goods in February, in particular, an increase in prices was recorded for printed publications - by 5.2%, bed linen - by 3.7%, toys - by 3.3%, fabrics - by 2.2%, perfumes and cosmetics goods - by 2.1%, furniture - by 1.6%.
Among services, the largest increase in prices in February was noted for insurance services - by 6.7%, repair and maintenance of vehicles - by 2.7%, physical education and sports services - by 2.5%, housing services - by 0. 9%.
The cost of the minimum set of food products in the Sakhalin region in February 2013 amounted to 4277.66 rubles and has increased by 2.8% since the beginning of the year.
