Six participants in the rally on Red Square were released from the China-Gorod police department. According to the ATS-INFO, at first they released Anastasia Zinovkin, Gennady Stroganov and Sergey Cherepovsky, then they also brought Vladimir Michurin, Oleg Pruudnikov and Andrei Semenov from the Yakimanka police department. They were also released soon, handing the summons to the court. All activists will be judged under Articles 20.2 and 19.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (violation of the rules of the rally and disobedience to the requirements of the police). They are facing fines even up to 15 days of arrest.

About a dozen civilian activists held on the eve of Red Square an inconsistent action against the registration. At the Mausoleum, they lit fireers, launched a banner "go to the dick with their registration" and chanted "where we live - not your bitch", "Putin will be executed", "Down with the power of the Chekists", "this is our country."

The detention began a few minutes later. The police acted extremely harshly: activists were dragged by the hair and by the ears, beaten their feet. Among the detainees were two minors, who were taken from the police by parents. Three journalists - Maria Reshetnikov, Alexander Sotnik and Dmitry Melekhin - were released without drawing up protocols.

The action was directed against the law on criminal liability for violation of the rules of registration. “We, the fellow citizens, are not even returning to the scoop - but directly during the time of Nikolaevschina,” the activists say. “Putin actually canceles Alexander II's reforms. Zemstvo and judicial reforms are already canceled, since we no longer have neither independent local self -government, nor an independent court. Now, the“ modernized ”form is introduced again.

The new law will hit both homeowners and tenants, the organizers of the action believes. "We do not intend to put up with a violation of our rights. We are power here, not Putin. And the ambulance will prove this," the appeal says.

On February 15, the State Duma adopted in the first reading the law on toughening the rules of registration, the draft of which was introduced by President Vladimir Putin. This document involves, in particular, the introduction of criminal liability for fictitious registration at the place of residence and at the place of stay. In the case of the adoption of the law, violators face up to three years of the colony. It is also planned to include an article on punishment for living in an apartment without registration in the Code of Administrative Offenses. The fine will be up to 5 thousand rubles in the country and up to 7 thousand in Moscow and St. Petersburg.

During the consideration of the bill, activists of the Civil Initiative "Rensineme.net" conducted a series of single pickets against the adoption of this document at the entrance to the State Duma. The main slogan of the action was: "Freedom of movement? No, I did not hear."

On February 18, the collection of signatures began under the demand for the State Duma to remove the law from consideration. About 48 thousand signatures have already been collected.
