A child from a large family hanged himself in the Voronezh region

An investigation is underway into the suicide of an 11-year-old boy in the Povorinsky district of the Voronezh region, the investigative department of the Investigative Committee for the region reported on Friday.

According to preliminary data, the child lived in a family with five other young children. On Thursday, he and his half-siblings were at home, but his parents were absent at the time.

The schoolboy retired to one of the rooms, and some time later his sister found him hanging by the neck from a scarf tied to the top bunk of a bunk bed, the report says.

Currently, all the circumstances of the incident are being established.
