Russian President Vladimir Putin will hold a “direct line” with Russians this spring - the first since his re-election as head of state in 2012, Kommersant reports.
“Such a line is being prepared. We will announce the exact dates a little later,” the head of state’s press secretary Dmitry Peskov said on Friday, clarifying that Vladimir Putin’s live communication with citizens will take place in the spring.
In 2012, the traditional December “direct line” with Vladimir Putin was not held, but the Kremlin then stated that they were not going to abandon this format.
