Tatarstan drug police detained members of an organized criminal group, from whom more than 35 kilograms of drugs were seized.
A special operation to detain members of an organized crime group, which included three residents of St. Petersburg and Tatarstan, was carried out in Kazan.

According to the Federal Drug Control Service, an unemployed, previously convicted resident of St. Petersburg was responsible for delivering drugs to the organized crime group. From there, under the influence of methamphetamine, he brought over 28 kg of hashish and 200 g of cocaine to Tatarstan in a specially equipped car.
In Kazan, he was met by the buyer - a previously convicted resident of Nizhnekamsk, officially listed as the director of a private commercial company. His duties included distributing the resulting drugs throughout the republic.
The brought batch would be enough for 57 thousand single doses of hashish and 1.5 thousand doses of cocaine, the press service notes. In addition, in a garage on the outskirts of Kazan, drug control operatives seized another 7 kg of hashish (more than 14 thousand single doses).
Thus, the largest consignment of hashish and cocaine in the entire history of the territorial Federal Drug Control Service was seized - over 35 kilograms. “Drug criminals have suffered enormous financial damage: more than 50 million rubles,” the report says.
The report also notes that the “drug lord” himself, the organizer of the organized crime group, did not use drugs. At the same time, despite the complete lack of official earnings, the leader of the criminal group openly demonstrated the level of his income, spending considerable sums on apartments and a luxurious fleet of expensive foreign cars.
To date, all members of the criminal group are in custody. The leader of an organized criminal group faces life imprisonment, his accomplices - up to 20 years in prison.
