On March 23, 2013, a wave of disconnection of light swept throughout the earth, dedicated to the annual action from WWF - "Hour of the Earth".
In Vladivostok, this event was met by a small bike launch on the central streets of the city.

For the first time, this event was organized by the World Wildlife Fund in Australia in 2007, the next year it received world support, and in 2009 it became the most mass action in the history of mankind - according to WWF estimates, it touched on more than a billion inhabitants of the planet. “Hour of the Earth” calls for everyone to turn off the light and other not vital electrical appliances for one hour (from 20:30 to 21:30 local time) to stimulate interest in the problem of climate change, the energy unification of mankind.
