In the Stavropol Territory, a villager stole 49 sheep and hid in a closet

A resident of the village of Saban-Antusta, Turkmen region, stole 49 sheep worth 240 thousand rubles from a Stavropol farmer, the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs reports.

“A search was carried out at the suspect’s home, during which the stolen sheep head was discovered and seized, and later returned to the owner. The thief himself was hiding from the police officers in a clothing closet,” says a press release from the local department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. “During the preliminary investigation, additional It was established that the criminal was stealing sheep together with his brother, also a resident of the Turkmen region."
