The world brings snow. The alarm beats the inhabitants of the initially snowy regions and those where snowfall at the end of March in a curiosity.

In Moscow, another serious snowfall complicated the transport situation on Monday night: the work of the capital's airports was broken, and multi -kilometer traffic jams arose on the road. One of the largest congestion was formed on the inside of the Moscow Ring Road - there the cars lined up 20 km from the hood to the intersection with the Kaluga highway. Traffic jams also formed on the outside between the Volokolamsk and Leningrad highway, the Leningrad and Dmitrovsky highway, Volgogradsky Prospekt and the Shchelkovo highway.

The day before, the city hall called on drivers to refuse on Monday to travel on personal cars on Monday. According to the Hydrometer of Moscow and the Moscow Region, the snowfall, which began in the metropolitan region on Sunday morning, brought about a third of the monthly rainfall. "With a rainford norm for March 34 mm, over the past day snow fell on the city in the equivalent of water 11 mm," the representative of the hydrometeorological unit told Interfax.

The situation does not think to improve. The head of the Ministry of Emergencies Vladimir Puchkov promised Muscovites "new surprises". What kind of surprises are the metropolitan administration of the department: a strong gusty wind and snow, a “deterioration in visibility, skidding on the roads, difficulty movement of transport and accidents, an increase in the number of cases of injuries among the population” is predicted. “Damage to power lines, collapse of large -format and poorly fortified advertising structures are possible,” the department promised.

The cold and snowfalls that are unprecedented for the end of March are also observed in the countries of Western Europe - Germany, France and Poland. Hundreds of thousands of houses in the northern regions of Great Britain left without light, the Belfast had to cancel the match between the national teams of Russia and Northern Ireland, planned as part of the world championship of the World - 2014.

Due to heavy snowfalls and snowstorms in ten regions of Ukraine, 615 settlements were de-energized, 105 of them are partially de-energized. Kyiv, where the snow comes from March 22, is paralyzed by car traffic jams - trolleybuses have to be pulled out with the help of army armored personnel carriers.
