NPO checks are going on throughout the country

Prosecutorial inspections are now taking place in 39 organizations in 15 regions of Russia. Two types of checks: either the prosecutors come, and with them (or after them) tax, firefighters and other services, including, for example, Rospotrebnadzor. The Ministry of Justice often joins. Or only taxes or fire safety state are checked.

"Under the cap" now about 200 NPOs throughout the country. The Interregional Association of Human Rights Office "Agora" compiled a list of organizations that the prosecutor's office came to. They check everyone in a row: French language courses in Samara, "Civil Union" in Penza, the information training center in Krasnodar and so on. In Novosibirsk, for example, they check the city public organization “Humanitarian Project”, which is engaged in primary HIV prevention and HIV support. And in the Primorsky Territory - the Far Eastern Representation of the "World Wildlife Defense Fund". Human rights centers are checked everywhere. Geography-from Maykop and Rostov-on-Don to Orenburg and Chita.

In Krasnodar, various kinds of commissions came to 40 organizations, in St. Petersburg, according to the Agora, 100 non -profit organizations, in the Saratov region - about 70.
