The businessman's security guard said he left him at 10 a.m. to run some errands. At 3 o'clock in the afternoon he returned and saw several missed calls on Berezovsky's phone. The concerned bodyguard began looking for the owner throughout the mansion. He found the entrepreneur's body in the bathroom after breaking down the door, which was locked from the inside. Berezovsky, according to the security guard, was lying on the floor fully dressed; there were no traces of blood or any note on him. After checking the pulse, the man called the doctors, and they pronounced the oligarch dead.

According to the publication, Berezovsky’s only remaining bodyguard used to work for the Mossad. The newspaper cites the security guard's testimony about what happened that day from the words of writer Yuli Dubov, who lives in London, one of Berezovsky's business partners and oldest friends.

Boris Berezovsky was found dead on March 23 in the bathroom of his mansion in Berkshire, England. Some time later, the police stated that there were no signs of a “third party” being involved in the businessman’s death. On March 25, relatives of the businessman said that a scarf was found next to his body and he could have been strangled. On March 26, British police reported that the cause of Berezovsky's death was hanging, but there were no signs of violence on the oligarch's body. Meanwhile, the examination is not yet completed.
