Our restless governor, it seems, is seriously considering installing his own man as mayor. And he does it so enthusiastically that he is unable to keep the secret of his deposits. Some informed minds may not be embarrassed by Mitin’s ostentatious loyalty to the candidacy of the current mayor. This is a distraction. I twist, I twist, I want to confuse.
The correctness of this statement is confirmed by ev_chuprunov , speaking in his article http://ev-chuprunov.livejournal.com/112493.html about the possible nomination of Veronica Minina as a candidate for the post of mayor. And if Mitin really takes this step, then the issue with the upcoming mayoral elections will sparkle with new facets. We, of course, are smart people, so we will not take seriously the Administration’s unobtrusive desire to secretly stimulate the desire of Svetlov and Ignatov to compete with Bobryshev. The Administration can continue to strum their ego as long as it likes. At least until the end of the elections. With this they will not be able to deceive anyone. Another thing is the candidates used in the real game.
Firstly, the project “Minina - Mayor” will be the third scenario to screw Yu. I. Bobryshev. The first sign was Vladislav Buketov, who joyfully rang throughout the neighborhood about Mitin’s promised support in the elections. But the security forces “removed this birdie” from the berdank on takeoff by threatening to throw out the suitcase with incriminating evidence.
Mitin’s second attempt to have a controlled figure in the mayor was the desire to push Alexei Kostyukov into this place. This is no longer a swallow, but a mountain eagle. But, sadly, the “eagle” was plucked. And he came into conflict with Bobryshev, and Moscow did not approve of his candidacy.
But Sergei Gerasimovich’s desire, in his opinion, must be fulfilled no matter what. And now Mitin takes out the “dove” from his wide trousers. And then the fun begins...
By nominating Veronica Vitalievna, Mitin, without knowing it, gives the green light to Olga Efimova for the mayorship. Of course, she might not have gone against Bobryshev. But in a situation where Minina will be the main candidate from the government, Efimova’s chances are one hundred percent. It is clear that this would not just be an election, but also a beauty contest. True, at beauty contests you can buy results, as the recent scandal with Rendezvous Image showed. But if the audience, that is, the residents of Veliky Novgorod, are in a protest mood, then the beauty’s victory from the authorities becomes doubtful. The sex symbol from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation has every chance of winning. And there are a number of reasons for this.
You don’t need to be a rocket scientist to figure out what electoral strategy Minina will use. Taking into account the specific mindset of our respected governor, this time too he will be confident that his word is law not only for the Administration, but also for the voters. Therefore, he will probably act as a “locomotive” in her campaign, appearing with her wherever possible. And everything would be fine, only Mitin is not Stas Mikhailov, our bright-eyed voting electorate will not run after him. Independent sociological studies have shown that the government's rating in general, and Mitin's rating in particular, is steadily approaching zero. And protest sentiments in the city of N, on the contrary, are growing. “To hell with you all,” a simple Russian worker will say. This is not Maidan, this is sabotage, protest - it comes in different forms. You can, for example, show dissatisfaction in a narrow circle of friends, relatives, and colleagues. But considering the number of discussions Minina’s candidacy will generate in these microsocieties, we can safely assume that, collectively, they will form a negative attitude towards her. The very attitude towards power will be converted against Minina. And as a “locomotive” Mitin will strengthen it even more. But Veronica Vitalievna simply has no other election strategy.
It’s not that it doesn’t exist in principle, the governor’s circle is still not a complete forest of oak, but during the years of ruling the region, no one has dared to contradict the “Serene Highness Prince”. At least among those who hold on to their chairs.
No less important is the fact that Minina herself is much inferior to Efimova as a public politician. It's no secret how exactly she was appointed first vice-governor. Veronika Vitalievna was pushed into this position using the numerical superiority of United Russia members in the regional Duma. But working with the electorate is completely different. Minina does not have such experience; this is not for you to tell stories to yawning deputies about future investments. And Efimova has experience working with the electorate. And in abundance. So make yourself comfortable, boys and girls, together we will watch the exciting implementation of the “Mistress of the City” project.
And Mitina can only be congratulated in advance on yet another failure. Life itself teaches life. There will be no 10% barriers at the mayor's office; the Communist Party of the Russian Federation conference will nominate Efimova, period. Removing her from the race under a “plausible” pretext is a rotten act. Last time this attempt ended in an international scandal. Mitin’s career will not survive a second such scandal. Moscow didn’t like it that time either, but now the organizational conclusions will follow one hundred percent.
