Soviet spacesuit sold at auction in France for 112 thousand euros

A Soviet Orlan D model spacesuit used in the 1980s sold at auction in Paris for 112,484 euros, Parisian auction house Cornette de Saint Cyr said on Wednesday.

The spacesuit was purchased online by a European collector. The name of the astronaut who used the spacesuit is unknown.

The auction also included the launch key for the Soyuz station, a heat shield from the same station, as well as some items from the Soviet Buran orbital spacecraft.
