"I sent today to the Investigative Committee and Prosecutor General of the appeal to investigate these circumstances," Astakhov said in an interview with Russia-24 .
Earlier this was stated by the adoptive American mother Kuzmina Laura Chateau.
"This family today has adopted such a method of protection. They say that, they say, the child was subjected to sexual violence while still in Russia, being in some kind of transit family," Astakhov said.
He noted that in his appeal to the heads of law enforcement agencies, he asks to find out who had Kuzmin before going to the United States.
Three -year -old Maxim Kuzmin, adopted last fall in the United States together with his younger brother Kirill, on January 21, "was beaten, according to investigators, a receptionist, who for a long time fed him with strong psychotropic drugs," said Pavel Astakhov, authorized by the President of the Russian Federation for the President of the Russian Federation.
