A draft code of conduct for Chechen youth has been released

The Ministry of the Chechen Republic for National Policy, Press and Information has developed a draft code of conduct for Chechen youth. An expert group, which included representatives from various fields, worked on the project.

The authors of this code claim that this is not a completed version and that they are ready to hear comments and make adjustments to this code.

At the beginning, when they started talking about developing this code, there was a lot of discussion on the Internet about the feasibility of this code. Some said that this code is not needed, while others said the opposite. Now both of them have the opportunity to read this draft code and express their opinion.

“We want people from our republic to be an example of culture and nobility for others. The real project, if you like, is also the prevention of conflict situations on an interethnic basis. Finally, the youth representatives themselves will not be uninterested in reading real life examples of what situations one has to face in life and what the ways out of them might be,” say the authors of the draft code of conduct for Chechen youth.
