Two half a year -old tigers left without a mother were deposited by hunting experts in the Kavalerovsky district in February with a difference of a week. The young tigress hit the poaching trap with a paw and she had to remove the two phalanx of her fingers. In addition, breaking out of the trap, she lost his fangs. In an extremely exhausted state, the animal was aimed at overexposing a huntingist in Ussuriysk. Here the little tigress received Valentine's nickname and reunited with her brother, caught a week later.

On March 7, it was reported that the young tigress actively recovering, demonstrates excellent appetite and gains weight. However, after some time, the animal became worse. Experts suspected a viral disease, but in the end the diagnosis was not confirmed. After Valentine died, the autopsy showed that the cause of death was a common sepsis, which led to the edema of the lungs.
