Four Russians were included in the ranking of twenty owners of the most expensive houses in the world according to Forbes magazine. Among them are billionaire Roman Abramovich, entrepreneur Yuri Milner, ex-owner of Uralkali, businessman and investor Dmitry Rybolovlev, as well as his daughter Ekaterina Rybolovleva.

Roman Abramovich took seventh place in the ranking, but at the same time he is first on the list among Russians. His London mansion on Billionaires' Row, next door to Indian businessman Lakshmi Mittal, is valued at $140 million. Having bought this house, the Russian oligarch decided to redesign something in it. In turn, the London authorities agreed on his plans. In particular, Abramovich obtained the right to build a tennis court, a health center and an automobile museum on the territory of the estate.

The billionaire's other properties include a chateau-style villa on the French Riviera and a 30-hectare estate on the island of St. Barths, which Abramovich bought in 2009 for $90 million.

Yuri Milner is significantly behind Abramovich. He got thirteenth place in the ranking. Milner's mansion is located in California in Los Altos Hills and costs about $100 million. The entrepreneur's house is designed in the style of a French chateau from the 18th century. It has 5 bedrooms, 9 bathrooms, a cinema, a spa room, a swimming pool and flower greenhouses. The owner does not visit his estate often, mainly during the holidays. Owning such property is very expensive for Milner. The annual tax on a mansion is about $600,000.

Businessman Dmitry Rybolovlev took 17th place in the ranking and third place among Russians. His estate with an area of 33 thousand square meters is located in Palm Beach, Florida and is valued at $95 million. This mansion previously belonged to billionaire Donald Trump. The home features 18 bedrooms, 22 bathrooms, a 48-car garage, fitness center, home theater, library and wine cellar. Rybolovlev purchased the estate in 2008. But soon the billionaire divorced his wife Elena, and she began to challenge the rights to the asset in court, demanding that the house become her property.

Dmitry Rybolovlev’s daughter, student Ekaterina, took 19th place in the ranking of owners of the most expensive real estate. Her apartment, located in the most prestigious building in New York on the outskirts of Central Park, costs about $88 million. An investment firm whose beneficiary was the billionaire's daughter acquired the property in 2012, six weeks after the property was put up for sale. At the same time, Ekaterina did not bargain and bought the property at the requested price. It was the most high-profile deal in the New York market. A square meter of apartment cost a record amount for the United States - 13.5 thousand dollars.

Let us add that the first place in the ranking went to 55-year-old Indian businessman Mukesh Ambani. His house in India is valued at more than $1 billion. The last place goes to the heir to the founder of Formula 1, Petra Ecclestone. The mansion she owns in Los Angeles is worth $85 million.
