On April 5, the St. Petersburg “other Russia” conducted a vigorous sortie to the representative office of the local Bank of Russia (aka Central Bank), expressing disagreement with its financial policy. It seems that this is the first action in St. Petersburg against the policy of the Central Bank, which took place immediately before its walls. Naturally, the format was unauthorized (Smolny will never give a permit for a share immediately in front of the walls of this important institution).

In a nutshell, what is the Bank of Russia to blame? (I already wrote more about this recently.)
Firstly, the Central Bank is guilty of storing Russian budget money in American banks. Hiding behind the mantras about the “free economy” and the prevention of inflation at any cost, the Bank of Russia (together with the government, of course) refuses large -scale investment in the domestic economy, folding money in an overseas cube that does not work for us.
Secondly, the Bank of Russia is suspiciously in private rather than state-owned hands. In fact, his hands are unleashed for pursuing politics independent of the people, since he does not answer the people (he, in the answer, seems to be only before the “invisible hand of the market” of Adam Smith).
Thirdly, the notorious Bank of Russia is one of the solid bricks of the oligarchic capitalism, a child of the Yeltsin region, the brother of the Putinism, the faithful conductor of the glaring and tragic social stratification. Calling the nationalization of the Central Bank, it is possible and necessary to raise the question wider - about the revision of the results of privatization.
I decided not to bypass an important and relevant action, so I went to the walls of the Central Bank with my comrades, especially since the day was excellent (on April 5 it is celebrated as the day of the nation, in honor of the famous victory of Prince Alexander Nevsky). Beating the Kremlarchkh on an economic basis is more relevant and fresh than screaming at one hundred and five hundred for the first time “Putin-go!”.
We lasted about 40 minutes (the sluggish "gray" could not fit buses in an amount sufficient to detain people). Well, then there was a standard set of the opposition - Vintilovo, department, night in the cell, court.
I will not write about the details of the action - better look at the video:
