A graduate of the Moscow Mathematical College, is engaged in creative activities. It does not consist in political parties and movements, but has a clear civil position and is oppositionly in relation to the current government. From the age of 15 he is interested in economics and politics. He does not tolerate lies, loves freedom. He does not understand people whose interests are limited to personal life. He will never hit the first, but can stand up for himself.

On May 6, he was detained on charges of disobedience to the police officer and sentenced to days of administrative arrest, and greatly beaten during the detention. Subsequently, he was identified by police officers as a participant in unrest and arrested on May 28 again. Andrei Barabanov is suspected of “applying violence in relation to a representative of the authorities” (part 1 of article 318 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) and “calls for riots” (part 2 of article 212 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
The detention on May 28 resembled fragments of a spy militant. Late in the evening in the apartment unexpectedly went out the light, Tatyana Nikolaevna, Andrei’s mother, opened the door to check the electricity counter, went out into the corridor and saw people in camouflage form with weapons. These sent a weapon to her and, pushing away, burst into the apartment. In complete darkness, without any explanation, they grabbed Andrei, threw him to the floor and put on handcuffs. Nearby was his civil wife Katya, one of the attackers sent a weapon to her. There was no resistance to them. Only then, when Tatyana Nikolaevna was left alone, a court order was presented for arrest and search.
The court found the basis for the arrest the presence of anarchists and football fans among the acquaintances, who supposedly help him to hide, as well as the presence of a scooter and a passport.
“I will not hide from the investigation. The argument that I have a scooter seems absurd to me. I have a scooter, because I can’t move around in Moscow differently, ”the defendant said at the first meeting. “A breakthrough of the cordon, in the zone of which Andrei Barabanov, occurred due to the pressure of an ever-increasing crowd, suitable for the rally place of people who have nowhere to go further,” explains Lawyer Svetlana Sidorkina.
April 8 is the day of solidarity with Andrei Barabanov, one of 27 people who pass in the so -called “swamp business” - the most massive and most high -profile criminal political affairs of recent years. Andrey is located in a prison since May 28.
