The investigation of the criminal case of “Massion riots on May 6” on Bolotnaya Square in Moscow was extended until July 6. In the case - 24 defendants, 15 of them are in custody. The last “swamp” - Alexander Margolin - was arrested on February 21. The defendants in the “swamp business” are very different in age, by education, in views. They, as a rule, are not familiar with each other. They are united only by the fact that, outraged by the falsifications admitted during the presidential election on March 4, they, together with tens of thousands of other “disagreements”, went to the square. We went to the authorized rally. And they turned out to be defendants in a criminal case, which in a few months will obey in a large indicative process in one of the Moscow courts. Who are they, these 21 men and 3 women whom the authorities chose to be responsible for the protest - in the new section of The New Times - “Swamp People”.

Perhaps they do not coincide, but they live, and do not exist, ”so a few weeks before the arrest, Alexander Dukhanin wrote in her diary, a former student of the Higher School of Translation of Moscow State University, and now the accused in case No. 201/459415-12,“ the case of riots in the swamp square on May 6, 2012 ”.

On March 5, the Basmanny Court of Moscow extended the house arrest Dukhanina until May 27, 2013. She was obliged to live at the place of registration, in an apartment on an earthen shaft. On March 14, Dukhanina put an electronic bracelet on the leg - Sasha should not take it off either day or at night. Thus, FSIN employees will control its movements. However, according to the conditions of house arrest without permission from investigator Dukhanin, he cannot leave the house anywhere. And the investigator allows her to only go to the doctor to the doctor on her own, which she had already done several times. Alexander Dukhanin was born in Cyprus, where her parents worked then. There she spent the first few years of her life. When the parents divorced, the mother remained in Cyprus, and Sasha and her father, Ivan Dukhanin, returned to Moscow. Ivan Dukhanin is an entrepreneur, he leads a company that is engaged in the transportation of goods along the Volga. How he reaches the fact that his daughter became a defendant in one of the most high -profile affairs of the last year, the New Times failed to find out from Sashin's father: all relatives of Dukhanina refuse to communicate with journalists. “This position has been agreed from the first days of arrest,” Dmitry Efremov, lawyer Dukhanina, explains their refusal. And the groom Dmitry adds: “Sasha’s parents support her. Relate to the situation with understanding. "

According to friends, Dukhanina changed several schools in Moscow, studied without much hobby and zeal. The father did not have time to deal with his daughter - he had another family. Already in high school, Dukhanin began to lead an independent lifestyle - her father rented her an apartment near the Frunzenskaya metro station.

Adult girl

After graduating from school in the summer of 2011, Sasha entered the Higher School of Translation of Moscow State University - his father paid for training. At first she liked there - she taught English, then switched to the German department. But soon she cooled to the tongues - she has such a character: it quickly lights up, but also quickly and disappointed. I passed the first session and stopped going to classes. “The press wrote that Sasha left the institute because she was carried away by opposition rallies,” says her fiancé Dmitry, “but this is not so.” “She just had other interests, she thought about going to study as a psychologist or veterinarian,” says her friend Elena Kotova, a student of a medical institute.

“I remember that last year, even before the arrest, she read many different books on psychology and human rights,” Kotova says. - And after the arrest, we gave the aunt for Sasha Biology textbooks. In the last court to extend house arrest, she asked her to be released, and explained that she wanted to go to study. ”

Volunteer

Elena Kotova met Dukhanina when they went to an orphanage together to the village of Zhukovka in the Bryansk region. “We were there several times,” says Kotova, “brought things, toys, played with children.” Sasha was carried away by volunteering almost by accident. “We had such an initiative“ we can do everything together, ”recalls another Sashin acquaintance Peter. - We arranged charitable concerts, and gave the proceeds to orphanages and shelters. Sasha came to one of these concerts. She liked our projects, and she said that she would also like to engage in charitable activities. ”

She began to help with the organization of kitchen at concerts. She likes to cook, she succeeds at all well. True, she cooks vegetarian food: Dukhanin is not just a vegetarian, she is a vegan*. She gets a falafel - a mose made of beans.

Together with the volunteers, Sasha went not only to orphanages, but also to dog shelters: they fed dogs, walked them, cleaned their cells.

Peter says that Dukhanina suddenly became a reliable assistant for the volunteers: “At first I treated her without much attention: I thought an ordinary little girl, which many. But then he began to notice that she reads literature, delves into everything. If something had to be done, I called her, and she quickly responded. "

Anarchist

Friends and acquaintances of Alexandra Dukhanina, with whom the New Times spoke, are extremely concise and careful. They are afraid to harm Sasha. They ask to emphasize that Dukhanina called herself an anarchist. So she determined the ideology close to herself. Classes of charity, volunteer, environmental activities (she, together with friends, went to rallies in defense of the Bittsev and Tsagov forests) for her an expression of views: we, citizens, can do without the state, we ourselves do what the state is not able to do (helping orphans), protect nature from a bad state that seeks to destroy it.

“Sasha is funny, very sociable and open, it was always interesting with her,” says her friend Elena Kotova. - Of course, there are leadership qualities in it. When we met, we discussed joint projects, promotions, rarely when they talked, for example, about clothes. But Sasha always dresses with taste, she does not care about how she looks. "

Rally

Dukhanin went to all protest Moscow rallies since December 2011. And for the first time was detained on Bolotnaya Square on May 6, 2012. One of the most famous photographs from the square-a huge riot police, “astronaut” in a helmet drags a fragile girl, a dark blue scarf crawled into her eyes, and he tightly squeezes her neck, and it seems as if he was strangling her. Then there was the Hamovniki police department, from where Dukhanin was released on the evening of May 6.

As her friends tell, neither hard detention, nor staying in the ATS along with dozens of other detainees, nor stripping in Bolotnaya, arranged by riot police and police officers, scared Sasha. “She participated in all May actions: on“ Okopayabai ”, and on Kudrinskaya Square, and walked along the boulevards,” recalls Elena Kotova. “We prepared food for the camp on pure ponds with her, and Sasha, it seems to me, was constantly there, sometimes she spent the night on“ Occupyabai ”. There was an information stand that anarchists and leftists were engaged in, and Sasha spent most of the time with them. ”

The first "Swamp"

“My country is breathing with scars / Kursk, Nord-Ost, Chechnya and Beslan”-such lines sounded on the morning of May 27, 2012 near the Monument to Mayakovsky on the Triumphal Square. Mayakovsky readings, regular meetings of young poets, who are trying to revive the traditions of Solu ** the sixties were held there.

These include the author of the quoted lines, the poet Ars-Pugas. Among the listeners that day was Alexander Dukhanin with friends.

Tired of the sun and poems, they went to the Aquarium Garden near the Mossovet Theater. A few minutes later two men in civilian clothes approached them. They showed the certificate: “A criminal investigation department. Are there Alexander Dukhanin among you? " When the girl called herself, several more police officers came up, who took her for interrogation. So in the "Swamp business" the first person appeared.

Only at ten in the evening, Sasha was able to call one of the friends and said that she was detained about the events of May 6 and that she already had a confrontation with riot police. All investigative actions took place with an appointed lawyer, from whom Dukhanin refused immediately, but, as it later happened repeatedly with other defendants in the “swamp business”, a lawyer invited by the “dewir”, they were allowed only the next morning.

Dukhanin spent two days in the IVS on Petrovka. “When we saw her in the Basmanny court to choose a preventive measure, Sasha looked very frightened,” recalls her fiancé Dmitry. - Of course, no one expected that there would be a house arrest - Sasha herself was surprised. We thought that she would be taken to a pre -trial detention center. ”

Duhanin is accused of two articles - part 2 of Art. 212 of the Criminal Code ("Participation in the riots"), part 1 of Art. 318 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Application of violence in relation to a representative of the authorities"). From the indictment: “Dukhanina A.I. Applied in relation to the 2nd platoon of the 2nd company of the 2nd operational battalion of the OMON of the Central Department of Internal Affairs of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Moscow by the senior sergeant of the police Zelyanin A.V. and the commander of the 3rd platoon of the 1st company of the 2nd operational battalion of the OMON Central Department Store of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Moscow, Sergeant Sutorina A.N. What happened to Sergeant Suromin A.N., the indictment is not said. Sutormin is probably the very huge riot police, who detained the 18-year-old Dukhanin at the rally on May 6. But Dukhanin has been sitting for nine months under house arrest for causing “physical pain in the shoulder” to another riot police. And the sanctions of the articles of the Criminal Code, by which it is accused, is provided for up to eight years in prison - sometimes they give such a period for murder.

Sasha does not admit his guilt, does not answer questions from investigators, referring to the 51st article of the Constitution of the Russian Federation.

Prisoner

On the morning of June 12, on the day when the opposition was held in the center of Moscow “Million Marsh”, police officers arrived at Dukhanina. "They began to ask:" Are you at home, is everything okay? " - told The New Times her fiancé Dmitry. - Sasha replies: "Where else should I be, am I under the arrest of home?" “Well, how, today the“ march of millions ”, we thought you would run there - you are obsessed with rallies.”

Dukhanin runs, but now only at home, the apartment has a treadmill. A new hobby is drawing. A couple of times friends gave her canvases, but basically Sasha paints on cardboard boxes, like those that remain from under pizza. Of the books, recently prefers anti -utopia - Orwell, Haxli, Kurt Vonnegut.

Her friend Elena Kotova goes to all court sessions to extend the preventive measure. She says that Sasha somehow matured during the arrest, but retained the previous cheerfulness and sense of humor. For example, everyone who was at the trial was upset when the judge extended her house arrest until May 27, 2013. And Dukhanina smiled and winked at her friends, encouraging them with all her appearance, as if she knew what unknown to them, worried about her future.

Under the terms of house arrest, Sasha cannot use either the Internet or the phone. She can neither receive nor send letters to friends. You can understand the way of Sasha’s thoughts with Dukhanina only from her records in the diary of a year ago. Reading them, you are convinced that this black -haired girl with sables, as if drawn eyebrows, with all the external fragility, can withstand a lot.

From the diary of Alexandra Dukhanina, May 2012: “For some reason, it seems to the authorities that it is easier to prevent the investigation than the root cause of everything that happens to us and our country, but understand that this will not prevent new riots or“ riots ”, because there will always be people who are not afraid, bold and honest people who pursue good goals.”

And again: “If you continue to do good, seeing only evil people around you - this is an indicator of power. If you stop doing good, resigned to evil around you - this is an indicator of weakness. ”
