Proposals for the development of the RFFI

Colleagues, the collection of signatures continues to “proposals for the development of the RFFIF” [1], which were adopted by the General Assembly of the Society of Scientists (ONR) on February 27, 2013. The main goal of our proposals is to ensure that the RFFIF function in accordance with the principles of transparent and objective PEER-REVIEW expertizes adopted by the International Scientific Community. It was such principles of 20 years ago that the creators of the Foundation formed the basis of its concept, but, unfortunately, the current leadership of the RFFI does not share them in everything. This showed a discussion of current problems of the fund with Vadim Shakhnov, secretary of the RFFI Council, which was held at the ONR general meeting [2].

In order for the leadership of the RFFI to listen to the opinion of scientists, mass support of our “proposals” is needed. They can sign them not only by the leaders and executors of the RFFIF grants, but also all those who are related to fundamental researchers. We ask the readers of the TRV-hobby not only to attach your vote to the “proposals for the development of the RFFIF”, but also to inform your colleagues about this action. It is not necessary to register on the ONR website for this. Only actively working scientists will be able to ensure that the Fund works in the interests of science, and not by a subcrete bureaucracy.
