For a beginner, an air conditioner may seem like a complicated machine, but once you figure it out, everything becomes much simpler.
A conventional air conditioner consists of two units. The outdoor unit consists of a fan that blows air over the condenser during operation. Simple models boast only one fan mode. More expensive models have a built-in mechanism for adjusting the speed and condenser (radiator, cooling freon). So the air, which heats up during operation, passes through the fins of the condenser and exits outside. Next, the compressor compresses the freon and moves it along the circuit. Scroll compressors are more expensive and more durable. Control board which is mainly a feature in inverter air conditioners. If the air conditioner can not only cool, but also heat the room, then it has a four-way valve. It is this valve that directs freon in the opposite direction during operation. A filter is installed in front of the compressor, which cleans the inside of the air conditioner from small particles of copper, and which must be checked when servicing the air conditioner.
The internal unit of the air conditioner consists of a front panel, a coarse and fine filter, an internal fan, an evaporator, vertical and horizontal blinds, etc.
The front part is a plastic grille. This is like the face of a split system. Air passes through this grille. It is easy to remove and clean. Two filters help get rid of dust, fur, hair and other debris that may interfere with the operation of the air conditioner. The fan helps circulate cold air, and the evaporator heats it. Blinds perform the function of regulating air flow. And the indicator panel shows all the capabilities of the air conditioner and its installation for a certain period, in addition, sometimes the panel signals when the filter is clogged and the air conditioner needs to be cleaned.
During operation, gaseous refrigerant, which is under pressure, enters the compressor inlet. The compressor compresses this refrigerant. After it heats up, it goes into the condenser. Due to the blowing, the refrigerant becomes gaseous and then liquid. Then it heats up.
Without this process, the operation of the air conditioner is impossible. This removal of liquid refrigerant is mandatory, since the second law of thermodynamics is present here. Typically, the heat that escapes travels in different directions. But if you create a more complex structure, then you can direct this heat to the necessary devices and objects.
