TKS Bank of businessman Oleg Tinkov on Thursday presented a new credit card, spending on which will allow you to receive bonuses for the purchase of tickets for any airline.

For every 100 rubles spent with a TKS Bank card, its owner will receive 3 miles, Tinkov said at a presentation held in one of the Moscow restaurants. “I called it a killer card, the best card on the Russian market,” a Forbes correspondent who was present at the event quoted him as saying.

Tinkov said that the portal allairlines.ru is being launched. On it, clients can receive a TKS Bank credit card, miles from which can be used for any airline.

According to Tinkov, the bank will earn almost nothing on the card; it is a loyalty card. The businessman promised that a total of 100,000 cards would be issued. “This year 50,000 of them could be produced,” Tinkov told reporters.

The businessman also said that he decided to open his own airline, Tinkoff Airlines, but this will happen later.

Oleg Tinkov first wrote about his intention to create an airline on his Twitter account on March 2: “I decided to launch Tinkoff Airlines. Let's give the battle to Savelyev [Vitaly Savelyev - General Director of Aeroflot].

A couple of days later - on March 5 - Tinkov again wrote about plans to create an airline: “Why not launch Tinkoff Airlines? Aeroflot, Transaero and S7 are not the same. We will turn the market around." Next he promised to lease 200 Boeing 737s and reduce prices for air tickets in Russia, and a few days later, on March 10, he posted a photo from “the filming of an advertising campaign for Tinkoff Airlines.”
