Sergiev Posad. A city that is known throughout the country as a major religious center. In the Moscow region it is probably the second most popular among tourists. The first, in my opinion, is Kolomna, which is more about history than religion.
However, that day did not go well for me at all. The way to Sergiev Posad is simple: take the train and go. But I live in a different direction and made a transfer via minibus. At first she was delayed, then the driver ran to take glasses to someone. Then there was a traffic jam, due to which I was delayed for more than half an hour. Accordingly, I was late for the train. We had to wait another 40 minutes for her. And when I got there I realized: in this city the roads are not cleaned. The station is fine, but then... Snow, puddles and dirt. On the way to the laurel, I felt like a hero in a computer game: simultaneous jumps between puddles and dangerous zones due to potholes in the road and speeding motorists. At the end, the underground passage was partially flooded.
And bad weather, repairs, clouds... In general, I start with a bright spot, and then the usual spring grayness in one of the most popular places in the region.
1. I walked to the Trinity-Sergius Lavra. The path is not long, but as I said, difficult.
