Now there are a new Windows, but according to the results of the first quarter of 2013, world sales of the PC fell by 13.9%, the IDC analytical company says . The rate of decline was twice as large than predicted by analysts the day before. Moreover, this is the worst state of the market over the 20 years during which the IDC measures it.
Gartner, another major research company, notes that, according to its estimates, the market in early 2013 fell in comparison with the same period in 2012 by 11.2%. The affairs in the industry are the fourth quarter in a row in this way.
Obviously, all problems from the fact that users are increasingly buying smartphones and tablets. Of course, they do not pull the perfect replacement of the PC, but many consumers do not need a full computer.
