Aoptix solution consists of a nozzle that can read fingerprints, and Stratus applications, with which a smartphone camera can be used to recognize faces and pupils.

According to the developers, their solution is cheaper, easier and simply more conveniently more conveniently specialized biometric devices: anyone who previously held the iPhone can easily apply the APPTIX EPP. And thanks to the open architecture, third -party developers will be able to supplement the capabilities of the system. True, at a price of 6290 rubles ($ 199), Stratus is clearly not for everyone.

Despite the “military” origin of technology, the US law enforcement and civilian services will use it first of all. So, Stratus will not only allow the police to quickly check the detainees of the suspects, but, for example, will help rescuers identify the victims of disasters and natural disasters.
