The return of the most popular in the Soviet Union of Georgian Mineral Water to the Russian market should probably be perceived as the long -awaited triumph of sanity. A few years ago, Borjomi was a victim of a political confrontation between Moscow and Tbilisi, and today, when the meaninglessness of this confrontation is becoming more and more obvious, the good Dr. Onishchenko decided not to deprive Russians of his favorite drink. In addition, there is now a different power in Georgia, and it, unlike even not owning the skills of driving a bicycle of the Saakashvili adversary, can be demonstrated by the depths of Russian state mercy - probably deeper than the Borjomi well.
But from this Kremlin depths he carries Tina. Because the story with Borjomi once again proved: do not count on mutual understanding with a partner when you wait for him to kneel in a dialogue with you. Prohibiting the supply of Borjomi to Russia and Georgian wine, the Kremlin wanted to scare not only Saakashvili, but also the entire political elite of a neighboring country - they say what will happen to you if you will not obey the "big brother". As a result, the pro -Russian option in Georgian politics - and at the time of the introduction of hypocritical economic sanctions drawn up under the Onishchenkovsky department, it was quite real - it evaporated, like Drops "Borjomi" under the rays of the Kakhetian sun.
Soon, the recognition of the independence of the rebellious Georgian autonomies finally convinced Tbilisi that the resolution of the country's territorial integrity did not depend on the agreement with Russia, and the opinion of the international community, not counting the Hugo Chavez, Vanuatu and Tuval, on the side of Georgia. And now Russia does not even have a potential opportunity to have an ally and friend in the person of Georgia - whoever comes to power there. Even if the seminarist Dzhugashvili resurrected, Tbilisi occupied and reigned in the Saakashvili residence, he would have to repeat what all other Georgian leaders say now: there can be no restoration of relations before resolving a territorial issue. So, perhaps, Russian leaders received great satisfaction from the ban on Borjomi, but they did not see anyone on their knees-on the contrary, they simply demonstrated to the Georgians, who was the enemy and who was a friend.
Now the Kremlin Talleyrans are making such a special operation with Ukraine. It would seem that President Viktor Yanukovych is not like Mikhail Saakashvili: Georgian - a revolutionary, Ukrainian - counter -revolutionary and adore of Russian political rules. From the West, Yanukovych was so far that it seemed that nothing would force him to think sensibly. But just on the eve of the final resolution of the issue of signing an agreement on the Association of Ukraine with the European Union, Vladimir Putin instructed to resume the forgotten project "Second Yamal" - a gas pipeline bypassing Ukraine. It would seem that Yanukovych is already almost driven into a corner, nothing will be glued to him, wait for him to come to agree to you. But to negotiate is not a Russian style. And with whom - with a geographical misunderstanding? No, we must show who is the master in the gas house, and immediately!
And it turns out that Yanukovych, who was on the verge of loss of his country of the status of a transit power, should either rush to his knees in front of the imperial throne - sorry, Vladimir Vladimirovich, we will serve and must kiss the shoe - either to agree with Poland. That is, with the West. That is, to free the political prisoners that he had already begun to do. And the pro -Russian option in Ukrainian politics - it is still here, do not hesitate - it will soon dry out soon, like a drop of "Truskavetsky" under the sun of the Carpathians. So it’s too late to drink not only Borjomi.
